Making an application for dispute resolution
The first thing you should always do before making an application for dispute resolution is talk to the person or group you have a dispute with. There may have been a simple misunderstanding or mistake. It is always best to try to sort things out with each other so you don’t need to apply to the Tenancy Tribunal.

Application Forms
Below are links to the application forms you’ll need to bring an application for dispute resolution. The one you need depends on the type of dispute you have.
If you have a dispute of a general nature complete the following form and send it to the Department of Building and Housing.
If you need help recovering unpaid body corporate levies complete the following form and send it to the Department of Building and Housing.
It is important to attach evidence to support your application. For more information on the types of evidence to attach, check out the “Documents to support your application to the Tenancy Tribunal” information sheet.
The application forms are designed to be filled in and submitted using Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader version 7 or above, which will allow you can attach your supporting documents within the form. If you are using other software to complete the form then you will need to include your supporting documents in the email along with your application form.
