What sort of publication it is: Form
Who it's for: Anyone that has knowledge of a non-licensed building practitioner committing any offences under the Building Act

  • holding themselves out to be a licensed building practitioner
  • undertaking Restricted Building Work while not suitably licensed or supervised to do so
  • knowingly engage a non-licensed building practitioner to undertake Restricted Building Work.

Record of Work

Record of Work form cover   What sort of publication it is:  The Record of Work is the form all LBPs who work on a building site and carry out Restricted Building Work must complete. It has to be made available to the building owner so he can pass it to the BCA and receive their CCC.
Who it's for: All Licensed Building Practitioners must fill out the form if they carry out Restricted Building Work or supervise it.
What it contains: It outlines what the Restricted Building Work construction work is and who carried it out.

Memorandum (Certificate of Work)

Certificate of Work form cover   What sort of publication it is:  Memorandum (Certificate of Work)
Who it's for: Under Restricted Building Work, architectural designers, architects and engineers must fill in this form and hand it in with the Building Consent application
What it contains: The form identifies Restricted Building Work.

As amended in late October 2012.
