Statement of Intent 2006/09 tabled
18 May 2006: The Department of Building and Housing's Statement of Intent 2006/2009 has been presented to the House of Representatives pursuant to the Public Finance Act 1989.
This is the Department’s second Statement of Intent. It reflects our growth and development over the last 12 months into a more complex organisation with a broader mandate. It also reflects how our thinking has evolved in terms of the strategic issues facing the sector, how we see our role in the sector, and how we add value.
The Statement of Intent will continue to evolve over time as the Department comes together as one integrated organisation.
