Legislation under review

The Department of Building and Housing is reviewing several pieces of legislation – the Residential Tenancies Act 1986, which we administer, and the Unit Titles Act 1972 administered jointly by Land Information New Zealand and the Ministry of Justice. 

The New Zealand Building Code (First Schedule to the Building Regulations 1992) is also under review.
