Proposed minimum standards and fees for three new trade licences – roofing, bricklaying and blocklaying, and external plastering.

The Department of Building and Housing is consulting on the proposed new licensing classes for the Licensed Building Practitioner Scheme.

A consultation document was released on 12 May.

This consultation paper is your opportunity to comment on the competencies and fees for the next set of licensing classes under the Licensed Building Practitioner Scheme.

The competencies are the proposed minimum standards for people wanting to be licensed in the following classes:
